CHAOS
CRAFTING

This is how you hunt runes during Titan Blessing. You keep crafting to roll the reward table over and over, and you stack up a pile of gold catalysts while you do it.

Chaos Crafting is how we hunt runes during Titan Blessing. It never changes your gear quality. One rule drives everything: craft to 5 or 10 with blue and purple catalysts to gain gold catalysts, and the end target is always 50 crafts for runes.

Build Up Catalysts

You're here to stock up. This covers the four catalyst tiers, the reward track, the build-up loop, and a calculator to plan your event.

Meet the Catalysts

Four tiers, one job

Every craft eats a catalyst. Blue and purple are your cheap volume, gold is what you're actually farming, and red only drops from the 50-craft chest.

Cheap and everywhere. Use them for bulk crafts to push the bar and feed recycling.

The Ritual Gauge

The 50-craft reward track

⏱ TITAN POWER Every craft advances the bar. Tap a node to see what it pays, then stop at fifty.

Only 5, 10 and 50 hand you catalysts. 20 crafts grant a decor box (either a decor or 1/10th of a decor), and 80 crafts is just three more decor boxes for thirty extra crafts, with no second catalyst chest. That's why we stop at fifty, 20 and 80 are stupid.

The Build-Up Loop

How you net 2-6 gold a blessing

A full run to 50 mostly pays for itself. The milestones hand gold back, and recycling the gear you craft returns even more. You spend cheap catalysts, come out with gold, and use that gold to hunt runes, every blessing.

Cheap Pulls

Blue and purple in 5s and 10s. Lots of cheap crafts.

Milestones + Recycle

Hit 5 / 10 / 50 (20's decor chest is free on the way) and recycle the leftovers.

Bank Gold

2-6 gold catalysts a blessing, often more.

Hunt Runes

Spend that gold fishing for the drop you want.

  1. Craft cheap blue and purple in 5s and 10s.
  2. Collect the 5, 10 and 50 rewards, and recycle the gear you do not keep.
  3. You come out with 2 to 6 gold catalysts.
  4. Spend that gold hunting the rune you want.

how this is estimated

Milestones give +1 gold at 5 and +1 gold at 10 (2 guaranteed). At 50 the Catalyst Chest opens: 60% → +5 gold, 40% → a Legendary (a guaranteed rune, counted separately). Recycling returns extra gold per craft. Light / Typical / Heavy widen the range. Numbers are a planning estimate, not a promise; RNG is still RNG.

How to Craft

The hands-on part. Tex's playbook, the batch sizes for each catalyst tier, and two real sample rounds you can copy.

The Process

Tex's playbook

Disclaimer: this is what works for me and the people I've crafted with, but RNG is still RNG. Your mileage may vary.

01

Building Catalysts

Craft with cheap blue and purple in batches of 5 and 10, always aiming for 50. The 5 and 10 milestones alone bank 2 gold, and recycling gear pushes it higher. Weekly Pass and Custom Rewards refill your supply; hold Supreme Pass until you're nearing level-5 Weekly Pass.

02

Getting Gold Gear Drops

If blues aren't landing gold after 5-10 crafts, switch to purple for 5-10 until you hit gold gear, then rotate back to blue. Keep the bar moving.

03

Targeting Rune Drops

Track your gear. If a piece hasn't dropped a rune lately, consider it "primed." After 3-4 gold drops on a piece, try 10× blue or purple; if no rune after 6-7 crafts, go 5× gold. When you land a rune, rotate that piece out until two others have produced runes.

04

Timing (Superstitious)

Anecdotally, off-peak hours feel better. I avoid resets and craft consistently rather than in sporadic bursts. Pure superstition, take it or leave it.

05

In the Pocket

When it's going well (golds, runes, whatever) keep going and ride the wave. Overthinking kills momentum. Superstition or not, it works for me.

Crafting Order

Batch sizes by tier

Blue> BLUE   :: craft 5s + 10sbulk volume; switch gear every 5-15 crafts, target weak spots on your main march.
Purple> PURPLE :: craft 1s + 5s5s behave like blue; 1s behave like gold. The flexible middle.
Gold> GOLD   :: craft 1 → inspect → repeat2-4 pulls on one piece then switch. Staples: gloves, headphones, boots, triangle. Watch every pull.

Post-craft cleanup

Recycle gear that lacks Damage Increase, Damage Decrease, or Defense; those returns feed your next batch. Keep solid single-stat gear for your main unit type, and never let gold catalysts sit idle.

Why Always 50

The reasoning behind the one rule: what Chaos Crafting actually is, why the target is 50, and the chest that makes 50 worth reaching.

What Is Chaos Crafting

Buying lottery pulls

The whole idea is to force as much RNG as possible into whatever decides your rune drops. It doesn't change the quality or tier of the gear you get; it's purely about fishing for runes during Titan Blessing. Every craft is another roll, and catalysts are what you pay to roll. Runes are some of the strongest bonuses in the game, so it's worth throwing a lot of crafts at it.

The One Rule

The target is always 50.

craft 5 → 10 → 50 stop at 20 grind to 80

Five and ten are just stops on the way. Quit before fifty and you miss the big chest; push past it and you're burning catalysts for scraps. So the run always ends at fifty.

Wrapping Up

Get to 50, bank your gold, then go hunt runes with it. That's the whole method.

Chaos Crafting isn't about guarantees. It's about giving yourself more chances through preparation, consistency, and a little superstition. Good luck!
